Henry & Madeline Berry (Ireland)

Child Evangelism Fellowship Logo

Henry and Madeline are the National Directors of Child Evangelism Fellowship in Ireland. They are accountable to the Executive and National Committees and are responsible for planning and co-ordinating the C.E.F. programme throughout Ireland. They are, therefore, responsible for the pastoral care of the 68 C.E.F. workers in Ireland, visiting them regularly and attending prayer/fellowship/business meetings which are held monthly in the North and three times a year in the South.

They also keep in touch with missionaries as far apart as Isle of Man, Norway, Switzerland, Lapland, Romania, Albania and Zimbabwe to name a few!

Supervising trainees for the Mission and interviewing them is also part of their work as is visiting the sick and attending funerals.

As well as attending numerous committees, attending and speaking at Area Fellowship Evenings, promoting the work of C.E.F. in Churches, Bible Colleges etc. they oversee the planning of the Easter Conference, Annual Meeting and Staff Conferences.

They also evangelise children directly though 5-Day Clubs, Holiday Bible Clubs, Camps, Good News Clubs, Missions and tract distribution. Henry teaches at the Kilchzimmer Institute in Switzerland twice and year and at the New Year Teenagers’ Camp. Henry and Madeline also deal with administration from the National Office.

Glen & Prisca Charleton with Josh, Timmy & Miles (Brazil)
While Glen comes from near Donaghey - his parents still live near the church - Prisca hails from the beautiful country of Switzerland. They have been serving the Lord on the outskirts of Sao Paulo for six years. They set up CPC, which means Building for Christ, to work with alcoholics and drug addicts. As they help them to rebuild their lives, they share with them God's great love. This is done as they train them in building and social skills. Lives have been changed and people have returned to their families, holding down jobs and turning to Christ, knowing that He is the answer to all their problems. Over the past few years they have been building a rehab centre.
